About
The Scientific Society Isaac Newton, is a voluntary, non-governmental and non-profit association estimated on 25th of July, 2002 in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia.
The primary task of the Society is to gather interested citizens and legal entities with the aim of working on the popularization and improvement of astronomical sciences.
To achieve its goals, the Society will direct its activities towards:
• Implementing research-methodological projects for the successful fulfillment of the listed objectives.
• Monitoring the quality of work in the listed areas and providing suggestions for improvement, modernization, and alignment with international standards,
• Organizing scientific conferences and meetings where results are presented and issues in natural and related sciences are discussed,
• Collaborating with similar societies in Serbia and other countries,
• Publishing activities in the field of natural and related sciences,
• Popularizing science,
• Holding lectures and organizing round tables and conferences to disseminate the results of scientific research and expand scientific knowledge,
• Disseminating the results of scientific research through the media,
• Providing suggestions and recommendations to relevant legislative and other bodies.
